Min age to get CWP is 21. But paperwork is good for three years. So if you are younger you can take the class but need to not lose paperwork and submit when you turn 21. I suggest it be less than 1 year. Criminal records are situational dependent. I would suggest calling and talking about it to see if it’s possible. As well mental health same thing. We can discuss it over the phone to make sure you are eligible.
Q:
We go over all that in class. But you will submit it electronically to SLED and they then process the application. You will make an appointment with Identogo for electronic fingerprints (no additional cost). From that point the state is allowed up to 90 work days to process your application.
Q:
I have never had a student fail and I pride myself in that. With the way I teach and professionalism no student ever failed the class or written portions. I have had some fail shooting. If you fail that. You can reshoot right then and try again. If you fail again we can talk the next steps.
